彩钢瓦的铺放主要是看产品的长度，若是长度小于等于15M的屋面，建议采用重叠式，若是长度大于等于15M的屋面，则建议采用交错式。彩钢瓦专用钉一定要依照正确的方式安装，将其打在瓦骨部位才能起到防水效用。专用钉要由瓦的下端往屋顶方向打同时固定间隔横竖控制在50CM～100CM。屋顶侧面用水泥密封后，再盖上脊瓦；瓦的下部分使用专用钉固定，脊瓦交接的位置用玻璃胶密封；安装接水材料，并做好防水工程。

使用割瓦机，在距离彩钢瓦屋顶0.15m的混凝土墙上开一道沟，然后在沟内放入厚度在0.4到0.6mm的彩钢板，再用拉铆钉将彩钢板的另一端固定在漏水屋顶上。固定的过程中，要将拉铆钉固定好，以免出现拉铆钉脱落的情况。漏水面积如果不大，当彩钢房顶出现漏水的情况时，还可以使用组成高分子防水卷材和高分子防水涂料进行补漏，这些材料经过特殊加工，因此具有不错的防水效果，用于彩钢房顶补漏非常合适。
